“Before I started the coaching I didn’t know what I needed help with and didn’t think something like coaching could help that much. But it did!
The most valuable aspects of the coaching have been the way it has helped me realise what I want to do at university and finishing my UCAS form. Also I now know how to structure and manage my time better, i.e. with my revision timetable.
The biggest benefit to me has been to learn that when you break down the big scary things that have to be done then it is easily achieved with a bit of time, structure and effort.
My friends and family think the coaching has been very beneficial for me as it has helped me make some important decisions.
If you decided to have some coaching with Liz you would find ways to add structure to your life, learn how to break tasks down and make them easier to achieve and get loads of reassurance. It’s been great.” C (age 17), St Albans
FOOT NOTE: Having coached C through the process of deciding which course to do at university and then submitting a university application form, I was delighted to hear from her that she has won a place on her chosen degree course.

C went on to have 6 more coaching sessions after which this is what she said:
“Liz, I would just like to thank you for all your help in the past months. You have been so helpful. I honestly don’t think I could have done it all without all your help and guidance. So I just want to give you a MASSIVE thank you! For all your time and effort. I’ll let you know how I do in August!”
The fantastic news is that in August when she got her results they were more than enough for her to get the place she had worked so hard to achieve. Well done!

“I have had a series of 6 coaching sessions roughly one a fortnight with Liz. They have been a very worthwhile experience for me and I have learnt a lot about myself. I now have a clear set of goals and future aspirations and know what I need to do to achieve these. Liz’s coaching has also had the effect of helping me to be more prepared and organised generally. These have been the most important benefits of it for me.
Before I started the coaching I was unsure what it would be about and was slightly apprehensive. But I have found that coaching with Liz makes you more confident about whatever topic you choose to discuss and really helps you know how to go about achieving your goals and aspirations whatever they are.
My friends say I am more independent, have more confidence and am better prepared for the future now. My family say the coaching has really helped me to focus on short, medium and long term goals. They can see it has also shown me that academic work is a means to an end i.e. going to university, and that I am more motivated to achieve my goals. And I say, I am really glad I did it!” R (age 17), St Albans
